Eurasian water milfoil presentation set Nov. 19 at Washington Town Hall

The Unified Lower Eagle River Chain of Lakes Commission (ULERCLC) will meet Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. to discuss Eurasian water milfoil in the Eagle River Chain of Lakes.

Eddie Heath, aquatic ecologist  for Onterra, LLC, will present results of the 2025 Eurasian water milfoil management program. Preliminary plans for the 2026 Eurasian water milfoil treatment program also will be reviewed.

Last year’s study showed levels were on the rise in the Chain, and herbicides were being considered for management of the aquatic invasive species.

The presentation will take place at Washington Town Hall, located at 2301 Town Hall Road.
