Falcons take the stinger out of Killer Bees

Posted

The Great Lakes Hockey League season kicked off for the Eagle River Falcons this past Saturday as the home Falcons cruised to a 23-1 win over the Sun Prairie Killer Bees at the Eagle River Ice Arena.
The game was put out of reach early, as Eagle River fired 69 shots on net in the win.
Todd Koritzinsky, Lucas Otto and Jacob Robinson led the scoring charge with three goals a piece, while six other Falcons tallied two-goal games.
Alex Racino, Joe Roach, Mitch Idalski, Zach Szafranski, Crae Riese and Zach Kennedy each started their season with a pair of goals in the win.
Koritzinsky also dished out a few passes as he ended the game with five assists to go along with this hat trick.
Anthony Caroselli also had the vision on the ice, as he had five assists as well.
The Falcons will use that momentum as they take a week off and will hit the ice again against the Fond du Lac Bears Saturday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. in Eagle River.
