Glenn Sockness
Glenn Sockness, age 65, of Eagle River passed away peacefully at home on May 8 surrounded by his loving family.
Born on July 7, 1959, in Kenosha, Wis., Glenn retired from Highland Park High School.
He is survived by wife, Linda; son, Brian (Heather) Sockness; ex-wife, Claudia; brother, Paul (Jonie May); sister, Terry (Mike) Schaitel. Proud stepfather to Andrew and Nicholas Johnson and a cherished step-grandfather to Melanie, Clara, Ava, and Asher.
He is also survived, by his brother-in-law’s and sister-in-law’s, and mother-in-law, Eloda Birch.Glenn held a special place in his heart for his niece, Tommi (Andy) Heckler, their sons Carson and Tanner; his nephew, Tyler (Amanda) Schaitel and their son Colton. Glenn deeply valued the time he got to spend with family and old friends, and all the new friends he has met since moving here.
