Jadelyn Steele
Jadelyn Johannah Steele, age 18, of Three Lakes, WI passed away on July 28, 2025, in a tragic automobile accident.
She was born in Rhinelander, WI on March 2, 2007, to Megan Steele and Sam Welander.
Jade graduated from Three Lakes High School this year. She was a hard worker. Jade worked as a waitress for many years, as well as a couple other jobs. She loved kids, drawing, and hanging out with family and friends. She loved many animals, including her bunny Spooky. She planned on going to school to become a teacher.
Jade was a smart, funny, and ambitious young lady. She had a contagious smile with a kind, polite, and beautiful soul. She loved her friends and family dearly. With the deepest love for her little brothers and cousins.
Jade is survived by her parents, Megan Steele, Sam Welander and Justin Bauknecht; brothers, Eli, Jack, Mason, Noah, Ian, and Bentley; sister, Layla; grandmas, Cindy, Laura and Jenni; grandpas, Bob and Wayne (Lucy); cousins, Lexi, James, and Matteo; aunts, April (Michael), Rose, Maddy, and Mary (Nick); uncles, Jason, Tony, Rusty, Robbie, and David; as well as many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandpas, Jerry and Ken; uncles, James and Mitch.
A memorial service will be at 11am on Friday August 15, 2025, at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River, WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow at 2pm at SpiritView Lakeside in Three Lakes, WI.
