Kathleen Blicharz
Kathleen L. Blicharz, 68, died Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at her home in Sparta, WI.
She was born on December 30, 1957, to Howard and Shirley (Burge) Abbott.
Kathleen grew up in the Sparta area. She went to school and graduated from Sparta High School. Kathy met Joe Blicharz in the Eagle River/Three Lakes area, they married and had Adam and Amanda. They later divorced.
Kathy was an EMT-I in Eagle River for over 20 years. She enjoyed feeding the birds, crafts, puzzles, woodworking, and quilting. She loved going to the Casino with her sisters. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Kathleen is survived by her children, Adam and Amanda (Rob) Martinson; grandchildren, RJ, Alex, and Bronwynn; sisters, Starlynn (Stan) Olson, Thelma Rowlee, Laura Bieniek, Cindy Whitacre, and Janeen (Dan) Stanton; and many relatives; and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Tim and Howie.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Cataract Cemetery. A luncheon will follow.
