Cindi Semmann, grant manager for the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship State Property Friends Grant Program reminds the public that the deadline to submit applications is Nov. 15.
“Applicants should contact the DNR property manager as early as possible when planning a project and preparing a grant application,” Semmann said. “Submit the completed application to the property manager and district supervisor/superintendent for their review, approval and signature before it is submitted to the DNR Friends Grant Manager.
“We encourage you to submit the initial application to your property manager by Oct. 15 to allow enough time for their review and signature,” she added.
Grants must be submitted to the friends grant manager via email or USPS per the Stewardship Friends Grant Application for State Property Development Projects form that can be found on the weblink below. The DNR will consider all complete applications received by 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 15.
