Nicolet College and the Nicolet Players will be performing Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” starting Nov. 14 through Nov. 16, with tickets still being available for purchase.
The world’s longest-running play, “The Mousetrap” is a murder mystery that, after a local woman is murdered, follows the guests and staff at Monkswell Manor as they find themselves stranded during a snowstorm. It soon becomes clear the killer is among them, and suspicions swirl. A police detective, arriving on skis, interrogates the suspects: the newlyweds running the house, a spinster with a curious background, an architect who seems better equipped to be a chef, a retired Army major, a strange little man who claims his car has overturned in a drift, and a jurist who makes life miserable for everyone.
With a second murder adding to the urgency, tensions and fears escalate. This thrilling drama, marked by Christie’s signature plot twists and a surprise ending, promises a night filled with intrigue and excitement.
Agatha Christie’s legendary whodunit, brought to life by the Nicolet Players, will have the audience on the edge of their seats at the Nicolet College Theatre.
Performances are Thursday, Nov. 14 through Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at NicoletLive.com. Admission is $12 for the general public, $10 for K-12 students and seniors, and free for Nicolet College students.
Doors open one hour before show time, with beer, wine and concessions available for purchase.
