Nicolet National Bank Senior Spotlight

Three Lakes senior Kaitlyn Andrews is one of two senior volleyball players on the team this year. She loves being active outside of her regular extra-curricular activities, which involve anything sports-related. Her favorite vacation spot is down in Florida, and Andrews hopes to further her athletic and educational career in the Green Bay area.

Do you have a nickname that your friends or family call you?
“Sometimes my nickname is ‘Kait,’ but we have a lot of K names on the team, so most of the time I’m just called Kaitlyn or Lyn.”

Do you do any other sport besides volleyball?

“I used to play basketball, and I also do drill team. I just love being active and a part of a team.”

Is there a personal goal you want on the court this year?
“I really want to improve my skills as a player and also try to be even more uplifting to my teammates.”

What other hobbies do you have outside of sports?
“Since I love being active, anything sports-related I love to do in my free time, whether it’s watching or playing.”

Favorite vacation spot that you’ve been to?
“Key West, Florida, is my favorite vacation spot. The sunsets are so pretty there, and the drive is gorgeous over the ocean.”

Do you have a pre-match ritual that helps you before your games?
“I don’t have any rituals, but it’s always fun getting ready with the team in the locker room pre-game.”

Do you have any plans for after high school? College?

“My top two options are UW Green Bay or St. Norbert College. I really hope to bring my volleyball career with me to college if I can.”
