Norman DeLaney Jr.
Norman Jack DeLaney, Jr., age 83, a resident of Land O’Lakes, WI, and formerly of Kenosha, WI, passed away at his home on Friday July 25, 2025.
Norman was born on January 10, 1942, in Kenosha, WI, to Norman Jack DeLaney, Sr. and June DeLaney. Norman grew up in Kenosha, WI, and attended school there except when traveling with his parents as his father was in the Army and was stationed in many places.
After graduating from Bradford High School, he joined the Army where he stationed in Alaska. After he was discharged, he returned to Kenosha, met his wife, and settled in Bristol, WI. He worked at Great Lakes Naval Base until his retirement. He moved to Land O’Lakes, WI in 2008.
Norman was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was also a Scout Leader when his boys were Scouts in Bristol.
Norman is survived by sons, Norman Jack (Kimberly) DeLaney, III of Kenosha, WI, and Brandon DeLaney of Burlington, WI; brother, Donald Lee DeLaney of Somers, WI; and grandchildren, Katti Carlton and Cadin DeLaney.
A graveside service with Veteran honors was held at 10:00 AM on Friday August 1, 2025, at the Northwoods National Cemetery in Harshaw, WI.
