Northwoods Share dinner set April 15

Northwoods Share (NWS) will host its next free community dinner on Tuesday, April 15, at the Eagle Waters Restaurant in Eagle River.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for appetizers, and dinner is served at 5:30 p.m.

The Eagle Waters Restaurant is sponsoring and catering the meal.

Pastor Josh Reese will give a special devotional between supper and dessert.
Eagle Waters Restaurant is located at 3958 Eagle Waters Road. Take Hwy 70 east to Rangeline Road, turn left, and take it to the very end.

There will be a chance to leave a goodwill offering for those interested.

Northwoods Share Inc. is a nonprofit organization with a Needs Ministry that provides a pantry with free paper products and soaps, along with personal care items and clothing to assist families in the community. This is open every Wednesday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and is located just behind the Rock Mission Center.

They also have a program called ICHELP that helps financially assist families in budgeting with spending journals. There is a 24-hour phone line available for emergencies at (715) 891-8966.

NWS has also opened its first Esther’s House, a transitional home for moms and their children.
