Northwoods Share to host first community dinner of the season

Northwoods Share will host its first dinner of the 2025-2026 season on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at The Rock Mission Center, 1019 E. Wall St., Eagle River.

Appetizers will be served at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 5:30 p.m.

Cory from Pancakes in Heaven is sponsoring and preparing the meal, which will feature Sloppy Joes with tater tots, coleslaw, and lemon bar dessert. He will also have backpacks available for school-age children.

Northwoods Share’s mission is to provide an opportunity for the community to gather and share a meal together, regardless of financial status.

“We aim to share the hope of our faith — that Jesus loves and provides — leaving folks encouraged,” organizers said. “Join us as we get to know one another, for the community is stronger when people connect.”

These meals are free to attend, though an offering box will be available. September birthdays will also be celebrated at the event.
