Peggy Lou Wilde, age 82, of Watersmeet, Mich., passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls, Michigan.
Peggy grew up in Land O Lakes, Wis., and attended Eagle River High School through the 10th grade. She completed her GED through Luther Wright School in Ironwood, Michigan.
Peggy married Robert F. Kasson in March of 1978, making their home in Watersmeet. She was a waitress at the Copper Kettle in Eagle River, Minnie’s Café in Watersmeet, Pitts Restaurant in Land O Lakes and at Hillside Resort in Phelps.
Peggy was a born-again Christian.Surviving is her husband, Robert; one son, Dan (Paula) Allard; four grandchildren, Mannon and Ian Allard, Sidney and Taylor Allard. Also surviving are other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Russell Allard; and a brother, Robert Wilde, Jr.In accordance with Peggy’s wishes, cremation will take place, but no visitation or service will be held.Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hildebrand Funeral Home & Cremation Specialists, 24 E.
