The Vilas County Sheriff’s Department reported a total of 185 incidents this past week, which included 19 911 hang-ups, seven car versus deer accidents, one hit-and-run accident, nine nonreportable accidents, five property damage accidents, four agency assists, 11 burglary alarms, two fire alarms, three ambulance requests, one animal problem, one battery, one conditions of bond, one business or license problem, six citizen assists, one civil complaint, one carbon monoxide poisoning, one criminal damage, two death investigations, on message delivery, one disorderly conduct, two deer in roadways, three disturbances, two domestic violence complaints, three drug problems, eight sick leaves, two escort, one firearm denial notice, one internet fraud, three harassments, tree warrant confirmations, one no burn permit, 20 information reports, one employee injury, one nonsufficient funds check, two jail problems, three juvenile problems, two lifeline alarms, two lost properties, two OWIs, three parole violations, two officer requests, six search warrants, one subject removal, one suicide attempt, one suspicious circumstances, eight hazards, six traffic violations, one prisoner transport, one court transport, one warrant transport, one property trespass and 13 welfare checks.
A total of seven people were taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.
