Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported 283 CAD calls last week, which included 44 911 hangups, one abandoned vehicle, seven car-versus-deer accidents, two hit-and-run traffic accidents, three personal injury accidents, one non-reportable traffic accident, four property damage accidents, four burglary/intrusion alarms, four fire alarms, nine ambulance requests, two dog bites, one animal neglect, three animal problems, three locate attempts, four ATV complaints, one bicycle complaint, seven conditions of bond, 17 citizen assists, one civil complaint, one criminal damage to property, one custodial interference, one delivered message, six disturbances, one domestic violence complaint, four drug problems, six sick leaves, one grass/wildland fire, one fireworks complaint, two found property calls, two frauds, two drive offs, two harassments, 13 warrant/hit confirmations, one no-burn permit, one dumping, 16 information reports, one employee injured on duty, one intoxicated person, one jail problem, one juvenile problem, one lifeline alarm, one lockout, two lost property calls, one lost or missing person, seven noise complaints, three DOC offender releases, one drug or alcohol-related OWI, five parking problems, four vacation checks, one officer assist, one lewd and lacivious, one reported smoke call, three removed subjects, one suicide attempt, 11 suspicious circumstances, three property/general thefts, five threats, five hazards, 24 traffic violations, one transport warrant, two trespassing calls, one unsecure premise, one VIN number inspection, one wanted person, one general weapons offense and 13 welfare checks.
There were 17 people taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail last week.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department did not provide an incident report from last week.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 78 incident types last week, which included six 911, six ambulance incidents, one animal incident, two motorist assists, one other agency assist, 40 business checks, one disturbance, one extra patrol, one fire, one gunshot, one welfare check, four information reports, two parking tickets, one property incident, two reckless driving incidents, two recreational incidents, one scam, one suspicious circumstance, one theft, one traffic complaint, two traffic stops and one trespassing incident.
