The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported 349 CAD calls last week, which included 51 911 hangups, two animal accidents, four car-versus-deer accidents, two hit-and-run traffic accidents, three personal injury accidents, three non-reportable traffic accidents, seven property damage accidents, one agency assists, nine burglary or intrusion alarms, four fire alarms, six ambulance requests, four dog bites, one animal neglect, one animal noise, six animal problems, one all points broadcast, one violation of bond conditions, one battery, three boating or jet ski violations, one watercraft accident, 11 conditions of bond, one child abue or neglect, nine citizen assists, two citizen problems, one carbon monoxide poisoning/alarm, three criminal damage to property calls, one death investigation, three disorderly conducts, one deer dispatch in roadway, five disturbances, two domestic violence complaints, one drug problem, one emergency detention, one sick leave, one escort, two grass/brush/wildland fires, one structure fire, one fireworks complaint, two found property calls, three frauds, three frauds, one internet fraud, two drive offs, one harassment, one hazardous materials spill, four warrant confirmations, one no burn permit, 25 information reports, one employee injured on duty, one intoxicated person, two problems in jail, one lifeline alarm, 13 powerlines down, two lost property calls, one official misconduct, one lost or missing person, two noise complaints, one DOC offender release, one drug or alcohol-related OWI, three parking problems, one protection order, two probation violations, four vacation checks, one repossession, three officer assists, two search warrants, two removed subjects, one suicide attempt, 16 suspicious circumstances, three property/general thefts, one medication theft, one contract theft, one identity theft, three threats, 28 hazards, 19 traffic violations, one court transport, three warrant transports, two trespassing calls, two utility problems, one VIN number inspection, one wanted person, one general weapons offense, one weather advisory and 22 welfare checks.

Last week, 19 people were taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail for the following offenses: Hold on warrant; first-offense OWI; two battery; armed while intoxicated; second-degree reckless endangerment; retail theft; five disorderly conduct arrests; one possession of child pornography; four domestic violence arrests; two probation violations.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department did not supply a weekly incident report before the deadline of this week’s publication.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 120 incident types last week, which included one 911, one accident, two alarms, six ambulances, three animals, one citizen assist, one motorist assist, one other agency assist, 28 business checks, one civil matter, one commitment, three extra patrols, thre fire alarms, two frauds, one hazard, three welfare checks, four information reports, one noise complaint, one ordinance violation, one background check, two recreational incidents, one service, one social media, 37 storms, one suspicious circumstance, two traffic complaints, one traffic control, seven traffic stops, two trespassing calls and one vehicle in the ditch.
