Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Department reported 186 CAD calls last week, which included 13 911 hangups, one abandoned vehicle, six car vs. deer accidents, one hit and run traffic accident, two personal injury accidents, 11 non-reportable traffic accidents, seven property damage accidents, four agency assists, eight burglary alarms, five ambulance requests, one dog bite, one animal problem, three locate attempts, one violation of bond conditions, one battery to prisoner, 11 conditions of bond, 11 citizen assists, two requests, one death investigation, three disorderly conducts, four dispatch deer in roadway, one domestic violence complaint, 10 sick leaves, one grass/brush fire, one found property, four internet frauds, five warrant/hit confirmations, nine information reports, one intoxicated person, one juvenile problem, one lost property, one DOC offender release, five drug or alcohol related OWI, one parking problem, two protection orders, one officer request, two search warrants, one lewd and lascivious, one snowmobile accident, two removed subjects, four suspicious circumstances, two property/general thefts, three threats, five hazards, eight traffic violations, one prisoner transport, one warrant transport, one trespass to property and 14 welfare checks.

There were 17 people taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail last week.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department did not have a weekly report before the printing of this publication.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 79 incident types last week, which included two accidents, two alarms, one ambulance, one animal incident, one citizen assist, one motorist assist, two other agency assist, 41 business checks, five extra patrols, one threat, two hazards, three welfare checks, one information report, one property, one records check, one recreational, one suspicious circumstances, one theft, one traffic complaint, eight traffic stops and two vehicles in the ditch.
