Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported 205 CAD calls last week, which included 22 911 hangups, two abandoned snowmobiles, nine car vs. deer accidents, four personal injury accidents, 10 non-reportable traffic accidents, seven accidents involving property damage, two agency assists, 10 burglary or intrusion alarms, one fire alarm, four ambulance requests, three animal problems, two attempts to locate, one violation of bond conditions, one battery, six conditions of bond, 10 citizen assists, one communications problem, one criminal damage to property, one death investigation/dead body, one disorderly conduct, six dispatch deer in roadways, three disturbances, two drug problems, seven sick leaves, one fraud, two harassments, five warrant/hit confirmations, 25 information reports, three juvenile problems, one operating without owner’s consent, one parking problem, two probation or parole violations, four requests for officer/officer assists, one runaway juvenile, one sex offender registration, four lewd and lascivious calls, three snowmobile accidents, three snowmobile violations, one snowmobile OWI, one remove subject call, one suspicious circumstances, one property/general theft, two thefts of identity, two shoplifting, two threat/intimidate persons, eight hazard/signs down/conditions, three traffic violations, one utility problem, one VIN number inspection, and 10 welfare checks.

Seven people were taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail last week.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department responded to 24 incidents last week, including two alarms, two ambulance or medical assists, two bail jumpings, six citizens assists, one DUI drugs or alcohol, one information, two parking problems, one traffic accident non-reportable, three traffic offenses, two theft of property or shoplifting, and two welfare checks.

Two people were taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 63 calls last week, including one accident, two ambulance calls, one citizen assist, three motorist assists, two assists of other agency, 31 business checks, one contempt of court, one disturbance, four extra patrols, one hazard, one health and welfare check, one information, one narcotics violation, one operating while intoxicated, one parking ticket/violation, one reckless driving, three suspicious circumstances, motor vehicle or person, five traffic stops, and two vehicles in ditch.
