Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported 281 CAD calls last week, which included 32 911 hangups, four abandoned vehicles, seven car versus deer accidents, one hit-and-run traffic accident, four personal injury accidents, two non-reportable traffic accidents, three property damage accidents, six agency assists, 15 burglary or intrusion alarms, three fire alarms, one fake ID, two ambulance requests, two dog bites, one animal neglect/cruelty, one animal noise, five animal problems, one all points broadcast, three locate attempts, one ATV injury accident, one ATV complaint, one bicycle complaint, one watercraft complaint, 10 conditions of bond, one burglary, 11 citizen assists, one citizen problem, two death investigations/dead body, one delivered message, one disorderly conduct, three deer dispatches, three disturbances, one domestic violence complaint, one drug problem, seven sick leaves, two fireworks complaints, one found property, five frauds, one harassment, five warrant/hit confirmations, two no burn permits, 26 information reports, one restraining violation, two employees injured on duty, two problems in jail, two juvenile problem, two lifeline alarms, two lost property calls, one lost or missing person, five noise complaints, one DOC offender release, one officer safety information, one drug or alcohol-related OWI, one parking problem, two protection orders, one probation/parole violation, one vacation check, two officer assists, one lewd and lacivious, two removed subjects, three suicide attempts, 12 suspicious circumstances, three property/general thefts, one threat, one tobacco violation, 10 hazards, 21 traffic violations, one court transport, three property trespassing calls and 15 welfare checks. Nine people were taken into custody last week and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department responded to 37 total incidents last week, which included one abandoned vehicle, one ambulance assist, two animal problems, one citizen assist, four communications offenses, one disorderly conduct, nine information reports, one juvenile problem, two lost or found property calls, one parking problem, one hit-and-run traffic accident, one traffic hazard, one gas theft, four traffic offenses, one unsecure premises, one vandalism and five welfare checks. One person was taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 71 incident types last week, which included five 911, one abandoned vehicle, two accidents, six ambulance calls, two animal incidents, four citizen assists, one other agency assist, one barking dog, 18 business checks, one civil matter, one death investigation, one disturbance, five extra patrols, one brush fire, one fire alarm, one fireworks incident, one information report, one noise complaint, three property incidents, one reckless driving, two recreational, one scam, one suspicious circumstance, two traffic complaints, one traffic control and seven traffic stops.
