The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported 128 CAD calls last week, which included 18 911 hangups, one animal accident, three car versus deer accidents, one hit and run traffic accident, one agency assist, four burglary alarms, one fire alarm, two ambulance requests, one animal noise, one locate attempt, four conditions of bond, seven citizen assists, one citizen/officer complaint, one criminal damage to property, two disorderly conducts, one deer dispatch, one drug problem, one abuse of a vulnerable adult, one emergency detention, three sick leaves, four frauds, one harassment, four warrant/hit confirmations, one no-burn permit, 14 information reports, one problem in jail, two juvenile problems, one powerline down, one lost property, one protection order, one vacation check, two officer requests, two lewd and lacivious, two smoke reported calls, two removed subjects, one suicide attempt, five suspicious circumstances, two property thefts, one hazard, 10 traffic violations, one prisoner transport, two medical jail transport, one trespass to property, one general weapons offense, one weather advisory and eight welfare checks. Nine people were taken into custody by the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Vilas County Jail.
The Eagle River Police Department responded to 30 incidents last week, which included one alarm, one medical assist, one citizen dispute, three citizen assists, two information reports, one lost or found property, one noise complaint, one non-vandalism property damage report, five suspicious circumstances, one sex offense, one hit and run traffic offense, one property damage traffic accident, one threat, three traffic offenses, one tresspassing call, one utility problem and five welfare checks. There were zero people taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.
The Three Lakes Police Department did not submit an incident report before the early deadline to print this week’s publication.
