Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Department reported 197 CAD calls last week, which included 24 911 hang-ups, 13 car-versus-deer accidents, one hit-and-run traffic accident, one personal injury accident, one non-reportable traffic accident, six property damage accidents, one agency assist, six burglary alarms, two fire alarms, one fake ID, four ambulance requests, one dog bite, one animal noise, five animal problems, two locate attempts, one violation of bond conditions, one boating violation, five conditions of bond, one child abuse or neglect, nine citizen assists, one citizen problem, one criminal damage to property, two death investigations, one delivered message, four deer dispatches, two disturbances, one domestic violence complaint, one drug problem, one emergency detention, seven sick leaves, one found property, one fraud, three drive-offs, two harassments, eight warrant/hit confirmations, 15 information reports, two juvenile problems, one litter, one lockout, two lost property calls, one lost or missing person, one noise complaint, two DOC offender release, two drug-or-alcohol-related OWI, one lewd and lacivious, one reported smoke call, two removed subjects, one suicide attempt, 10 suspicious circumstances, one property/general theft, one identity theft, six hazards, eight traffic violations, one juvenile transport, one warrant transport, one trespassing, one unsecure premise, one utility problem, one wanted person and 11 welfare checks.

There were 13 people taken into custody last week and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department did not provide an incident report this past week.

Three Lakes Police

Officers from the Three Lakes Police Department responded to 56 incident types last week, which included two 91, four accidents, one accident with injuries, two alarms, one ambulance, two animals, two motorist assists, 20 business checks, two disturbances, two extra patrols, one harassment, one information report, one motor vehicle theft, two ordinance violations, two paper services, one reckless driving, three suspicious circumstances, six traffic stops and one trespassing.
