The Plum Creek Chapter of Ducks Unlimited (DU) will hold its annual fundraising dinner Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Clearview Supper Club in St. Germain. Doors will open for the event at 5 p.m. with dinner beginning at 6 p.m.
The chapter, founded in 1982, will feature a large number of prizes including a Springfield Hellcat 9mm handgun to be awarded as a pre-dinner special raffle. Tickets for this raffle will be available up until attendees register at the door.
A limited number of tickets for the dinner are still available. A single ticket is priced at $65, a couple’s ticket at $120. Sponsor tickets also are still available for $300, with that ticket including a second
dinner for a guest.
Among the prizes to be given away on raffles are the DU shotgun of the year, a specially engraved Beretta A400 Upland model in 28 gauge, along with the DU handgun of the year, a Colt Python .357 magnum, also with DU engraving.
Along with other guns, raffle prizes will include DU merchandise, other sporting equipment, collectibles and a ticket to next year’s event.
Ducks Unlimited is the premier conservation organization in the United States with over 5 million acres of vital waterfowl habitat in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico conserved and restored just in the past year.
