Glenn Grosswitz

Glenn Grosswitz passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, just two weeks shy of his 95th birthday.

Glenn was born in Milwaukee on September 21, 1931. He was drafted into the Army during the Korean war from 1952 to 1954. He celebrated his 21st birthday overseas in Germany. When he returned home, he graduated from MSOE on the GI bill for TV repair. He owned Hilltop TV for 38 years. At a ballroom dance class, he met his future wife Barbara and married in 1961.

Glenn enjoyed Pioneer Lake for 85 years. Starting when he was 9, his parents stayed in cottages. Later camping with his wife and children. Loved it so much they bought property on the lake and later had his dream cabin built.

Glenn lived a simple, but full life, of everything he wanted from spending time with his family, fishing, boating, skiing, playing the quarter slots, watching deer, and feeding the chipmunks.

Glenn is survived by his loving family, son, Barry; daughter, Lynn (Dan) Walloch; and Granddaughter Jess (Keith) Carew.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph; mother, Hulda; and Wife Barbara.
