Wild Instincts visit

Posted

Mark Naniot and his assistant McKenna Brocco of Wild Instincts, a wildlife rehab organization located in Rhinelander, were invited by teacher Pam Klessig to give a program at Phelps Elementary School. Naniot and Brocco brought along a barred owl and a red-tailed hawk, which brought great excitement to the entire group of students. Naniot spoke about the differences in anatomy between the hawk and the owl and the environmental dangers to them. —Photos By Sharon Gifford
