Fish Boil fundraiser set July 5

Posted

The Three Lakes Historical Society will bring back a crowd favorite this summer, with its popular Fish Boil set to return Saturday, July 5, on the grounds of the Three Lakes Historical Museum.

The dinner runs from 4:30 to 8 p.m. and features live music by Paul Christopher. Each ticket includes one plate of food and a homemade dessert. A cash bar will offer beer, wine, soda, and water.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children ages 3–12. They can be purchased online at threelakesmuseum.org (service fees apply) or in person at the museum’s Visitors Center during open hours.

“Although the Fish Boil is a major fundraiser for the Historical Society, it also serves as a fun gathering for residents both old and new,” said Susan Panian, director of the museum.

The Three Lakes Historical Museum was founded in 1981, with the Historical Society established in 1984 as part of the Three Lakes Centennial Celebration. Today, the museum features seven distinct exhibit buildings, offering a comprehensive look at the history and people of the Three Lakes area. Visitors are encouraged to start their tour at the museum’s Visitors Center, located inside the Demmer Library.

Summer hours are Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., through Labor Day.
