Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Department reported a total of 213 calls this week, which included 23 911 hang-ups, one animal accident, nine car versus deer accidents, two hit-and-run accidents, two personal injuries, two property damages, three agency assists, 13 burglary alarms, one fire alarm, nine ambulance requests, two dog bites, one animal noise, eight animal problems, one attempt to locate, one ATV OWI, one ATV complaint, one battery, three conditions of bond, one child neglect, four citizen assists, one civil complaint, three criminal damage to property, two death investigations, two deer in roadways, one fish and game violation, two domestic violence complaints, one drug problem, four sick leaves, one wildfire, one structure fire, one found property, one drive off, one harassment, nine warrant confirmations, one no burn permit, one dumping, 20 information reports, one employee injury, one jail medical incident, three juvenile problems, two lifeline alarms, one lost property, one missing person, one DOC offender release, one drug overdose, three OWIs, three protection orders, one parole violation, three vacation checks, one repossession, three officer requests, one stalking complaint, two subject removals, 10 suspicious circumstances, one medication theft, one watercraft theft, one identity theft, two vehicle thefts, two threats, three hazards, nine traffic violations, one road rage, five tresspasses, two unsecure premises, three weapons offenses and five welfare checks.

A total of 14 people were taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

 

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department did not supply a report before the deadline for this publication.

 

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department reported a total of 61 calls this past week, which included three 911 calls, three accidents, one alarm, five ambulances, one citizen assist, two agency assists, 15 business checks, one disorderly conduct, five extra patrols, one fire, two harassments, one welfare check, one narcotics violation, one OWI, two parking violations, two property checks, one reckless driving, four suspicious persons, eight traffic stops and two trespasses.
