Pioneer Lake Lutheran Church will hold its annual Pet Blessing on Sunday, Aug. 24, at 3 p.m. This event is free and open to everyone.
A representative from Totally Pawsome Food Pantry will be onsite to share information about the organization and its mission to help pet owners.
Tracie Van Houten, founder and president of Totally Pawsome Food Pantry, said, “We’re so thankful to be part of the Blessing of the Pets event. Every donation helps us keep pets fed, healthy, and right where they belong — with the people who love them.”
To support this organization, attendees are asked to bring a donation of dry or wet dog or cat food, treats, or cat litter.
There will also be a silent auction, featuring items generously donated by local businesses.
After the blessing service, attendees can enjoy free hot dogs, chips, and lemonade.
Pioneer Lake Lutheran Church is located at 3697 Pioneer Church Road in Conover.
Organizers request that all pets be leashed or caged
